Before Loving You Font Review

There I was, staring at a blank brand board, trying to find the right visual voice for a new boutique coffee shop. The client wanted something warm, inviting, and slightly whimsical—something that felt personal, like it had been handwritten just for them. That’s when I pulled up Before Loving You, a Script Handwritten font that immediately caught my eye with its soft curves and romantic flow.

Before Loving You for Boutique Branding and Coffee Shop Identity

Before Loving You has this gentle, almost nostalgic quality that makes it perfect for small business branding. I tested it on a logo concept, pairing it with a simple sans serif for balance. The result was clean but still had that human touch that sets a brand apart. It worked especially well on a coffee shop name, where the script added a sense of care and craftsmanship without being too ornate.

The font’s delicate strokes and subtle swashes made it feel like it was written by hand, which is exactly what I needed for a brand that wanted to feel authentic. I tried it on a packaging mockup, and it looked great on both labels and menu cards. It didn’t overpower the design, but it definitely made an impression.

Before Loving You for Social Media Graphics and Instagram Posts

When I moved to social media graphics, Before Loving You proved to be a real asset. I used it for a series of Instagram posts promoting the coffee shop’s seasonal drinks. The font added a soft, elegant feel that matched the brand’s aesthetic perfectly. It worked well as a headline font, drawing attention without being too loud.

I also experimented with using it in a carousel post, where it served as a decorative element alongside some bold text. The contrast between the script and the other fonts was striking, and it helped create a more dynamic visual hierarchy. It wasn’t the best for long captions, but as a highlight or accent, it shone.

Before Loving You for Business Cards and Printed Materials

On a business card, Before Loving You looked just right. It wasn’t too fussy, but it still gave the card a premium feel. I paired it with a minimalist layout and a neutral background, and it held its own without needing any extra styling. It worked well for the shop’s name and tagline, adding a personal touch that felt intentional.

I also tested it on a flyer for a special event, and it looked good there too. The font’s legibility was solid at larger sizes, and it didn’t get lost in the design. However, I wouldn’t recommend using it for body text or anything that required a lot of reading. It’s best suited for short phrases and headlines.

Before Loving You for Web Design and Website Headers

For the website header, Before Loving You was a strong choice. I used it as the main heading on the homepage, and it immediately set the tone for the site. It added a touch of elegance that complemented the overall design. The font’s weight and spacing were consistent, making it easy to work with in a digital format.

It also looked good on a hero section, where it was used to introduce the shop’s story. The font’s flowing style gave the page a more organic feel, which worked well with the brand’s aesthetic. I didn’t notice any issues with how it rendered on different devices, and it maintained its character across platforms.

Before Loving You for Packaging and Product Labels

One of the most rewarding uses of Before Loving You was on product labels. I designed a few mockups for the coffee shop’s branded mugs and jars, and the font fit perfectly. It added a handmade quality that made the products feel more personal and unique.

I also tried it on a packaging mockup for a gift box, and it looked great there too. The font’s softness contrasted well with the clean lines of the box, creating a balanced look. It wasn’t the best for detailed text, but for short phrases and accents, it was ideal.

If you’re looking for a Fonts option that can add a touch of romance and warmth to your designs, Before Loving You is definitely worth considering. It’s versatile enough for a range of projects, from logos to social media, but it’s best used as a display or accent font. Just make sure to test it thoroughly before finalizing any client work, and always check the licensing terms if you’re planning to use it commercially.
